We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Rush Court Care Home.

20 Hrs over 4 days & 10 hrs over 5 evenings

Total of 30hrs (20 hrs will be 9am – 2pm over 4 days, 10 hrs will be over 5 evenings – 2 hrs 5pm -7pm) We can be flexible

£9.50 per hour plus excellent terms and conditions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working park time Housekeeping Assistants, working 25 hours a week at Rush Court Care Home. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a prestigious Nursing and Residential home in Wallingford.

To conduct the general cleaning of all areas including bedrooms, lounges, dining areas, toilets, and bathrooms, offices corridors, inside windows and all fixture and fittings. To adhere to stated cleaning methods observing hygiene practices to prevent any cross infection. To take a personal responsibility in becoming fully aware and observant of Health & Safety policy and COSHH reporting any accidents and hazards. To carry out instructions accurately, following work schedules laid down within specified time limits whilst observing residents requests. Full job description available upon request. .

Ideally you will have experience in a customer facing environment with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate with a passion to deliver an excellent service to make our residents feel at home. You’ll understand the importance of maintaining high standards in and around the home, ensuring our residents enjoy a professional and person centred dining experience. You will enjoy communicating with others and posses a caring disposition where nothing is too much trouble. As an individual you’re always happy to help the wider team, taking every opportunity to enrich the days of our residents through the delivery of outstanding service.

You’ll recognise too that delivering your work to the highest standards is a vocation, not simply a job.
