Colehaven Cottages, in the heart of Coleshill, were built in the 1930s in the attractive style of old-fashioned alms houses. The cottages are intended for those who are still happy to cook and shop for themselves. A 24 hour alarm call system is in place in each cottage.
The cottages are bright and comfortable, each with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and lavatory. They are furnished with carpets and curtains, but residents are asked to bring their own pictures, ornaments and furniture to their new home. Each cottage also has a small garden area, which the gardener will maintain if residents do not wish to do so. The cottages are for single accommodation only. Colehaven also has a large room known as the Trust Room, which is available for special occasions such as residents' birthdays. |
